About Amanda
Amanda is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant and owner of Elation Physical Therapy in Cypress, TX. She has been a practicing clinician since 2016, and is an integral part of clinical operations. She enjoys the fast-paced environment, and her clinical interests include general orthopedics and sports medicine recovery.
Amanda is certified in FMT Blades which combines the concepts of movement therapy and performance enhancement with gentle soft tissue techniques. The term IASTM, or Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Manipulation, is commonly paired with the image of steel tools and deep tissue work. This can occasionally cause redness and bruising on the skin but has demonstrated beneficial outcomes in rehabilitative settings.
In her spare time outside of work, Amanda enjoys dancing, hiking, and taking long naps. She is also highly involved in the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo as a committee member and looks forward to rodeo season every year.
